Responsible Use of FakeChatMaker
FakeChatMaker is designed to create fictional conversation graphics and interface mockups. These images can be useful for storytelling, design and education, but a fabricated conversation can cause harm when it is presented as an authentic private message. Use the tool in a way that makes the purpose and context clear.
Appropriate Uses
Fictional storytelling
Create dialogue between invented characters for stories, scripts, comics and videos.
Design and prototyping
Build conversation examples for interface concepts, presentations and user flow discussions.
Education
Create fictional examples for digital literacy, online safety, customer support training and communication lessons.
Comedy and satire
Use clearly fictional scenarios where the audience can understand that the conversation was created for entertainment.
Use Fictional Identities When Possible
Invented names, usernames and avatars reduce the risk that a mockup will be mistaken for a real person’s private conversation. If you use a real person’s identifying information, make sure you have an appropriate reason and permission where required.
Clearly Disclose Fictional Content
If a reasonable viewer could mistake the image for an authentic conversation, add a visible disclosure such as “Fictional Conversation”, “Mockup”, “Dramatized” or “Parody”. The disclosure should be easy to notice and should not be hidden in unrelated text.
Never Use a Generated Chat as Fabricated Evidence
Do not present a generated conversation as proof that a real person sent a message or made a statement. This includes disputes involving employment, education, relationships, financial transactions, law enforcement, legal proceedings or platform moderation.
No Fraud or Harmful Impersonation
Do not use FakeChatMaker to obtain money, passwords, account access or other benefits by deception. Do not falsely impersonate a person, company, government body or organization in a way that could cause harm.
Avoid False Accusations and Harassment
Do not fabricate conversations to make false allegations, damage someone’s reputation, threaten a person or encourage harassment.
Protect Privacy
Do not publish private phone numbers, addresses, account details, personal photographs or other identifying information without an appropriate basis or permission. A fictional scenario normally does not need real personal data.
Public Figures and Brands
A fictional scene involving a recognizable person or organization should not imply that the conversation is authentic. Make satire, parody or fictional context clear and avoid using verification style indicators to manufacture false endorsements or statements.
Report Misuse
If you encounter public content that appears to misuse FakeChatMaker for fraud, harmful impersonation, harassment or fabricated evidence, contact us at contact@fakechatmaker.app and provide the public URL and a concise explanation.
A Simple Check Before Publishing
Before sharing a generated chat, ask:
- Could a reasonable viewer believe this conversation really happened?
- Am I using a real person’s identity without a good reason or permission?
- Could the image cause financial, reputational, legal or personal harm if believed?
- Should I add a visible fictional or mockup label?
If the context could mislead people, change the content or add a clear disclosure before publishing.
